Launched in 2017 by the Pavillon de l'Arsenal with the City of Paris and the support of the Caisse des Dépôts de MINI and EDF, the FAIRE platform invites multidisciplinary teams to propose innovative research and experimentation in the face of major urban challenges: climate, materials crisis, new technologies, resilience, solidarity, mobility, energy ...

FAIRE, the first accelerator of innovative architectural and urban projects, is intended for architects, designers, urban planners, landscape designers and  for all city players involved in research, whether emerging or confirmed, as well as for students of architecture and design schools.

FAIRE aims to accelerate the emergence of experimental architectural and urban practices, to facilitate the implementation of scale 1 prototypes in Paris and the Greater Paris area, to support and promote applied research and to encourage the implementation of new processes, materials and construction programmes.

FAIRE questions and explores new uses and design processes for the city. Supported by the Order of Architects in the Paris Region, the National Schools of Architecture of Paris Belleville, Marne-la-Vallée, Val-de-Seine and Versailles, industrialists, real estate and new economy players, FAIRE is a real ecosystem, a "facilitator" for project leaders and a "stirrer" for the city.

Since its creation, with its partners, FAIRE has already supported more than thirty teams, initiated the publication of 20 research, developed 22 in situ experiments and a new type of real estate development. More than a hundred actors have committed themselves alongside the winners of the various publications to support their experimental approaches.
Caisse des Dépôts’s Sponsorship is proudly supporting innovation and experimentation in the field of architecture and urban planning as part of the 5th edition of FAIRE, a fresh opportunity to bring to the fore research that is geared towards solving the greatest challenges facing our society!.”
Sylvie Roger,
Head of Sponsorship and Partnerships, Caisse des Dépôts

MINI is proud to support FAIRE for the 4th year now. Understanding the city as a whole and making sense of the needs of modern urban life and the challenges of future mobility are central to our approach. Our desire is to, alongside our partners, ensure that we offer products, services, and experiences that are highly relevant to the urban life of each and all.”
 Guillaume de Sazilly
Head of MINI France
“In order to help drive the urban transformation in progress, we are delighted to be supporting FAIRE’s distinctive approach that echoes perfectly EDF Group’s mission, which is to ‘Build a net zero energy future with electricity and innovative solutions andservices, to help save the planet and drive wellbeing and economic development.’ This unique initiative is bound to inspire, in a practical manner, the path to transition on which we are engaged with the City of Paris and Pavillon de l’Arsenal”
 Hélène Milot
Regional Development Director for Île-de-France, EDF
“We must re-examine our urban and architectural models to make them compatible with the ecological and social transition. The accelerator is purposefully designed to provide creators with the resources needed to explore new forms of knowledge and experiment with new ways of doing.”
 Alexandre Labasse,
Director of the Pavillon de l’Arsenal
