Launched in 2017 by the Pavillon de l'Arsenal with the City of Paris and the support of the Caisse des Dépôts de MINI and EDF, the FAIRE platform invites multidisciplinary teams to propose innovative research and experimentation in the face of major urban challenges: climate, materials crisis, new technologies, resilience, solidarity, mobility, energy ...

FAIRE, the first accelerator of innovative architectural and urban projects, is intended for architects, designers, urban planners, landscape designers and  for all city players involved in research, whether emerging or confirmed, as well as for students of architecture and design schools.

FAIRE aims to accelerate the emergence of experimental architectural and urban practices, to facilitate the implementation of scale 1 prototypes in Paris and the Greater Paris area, to support and promote applied research and to encourage the implementation of new processes, materials and construction programmes.

FAIRE questions and explores new uses and design processes for the city. Supported by the Order of Architects in the Paris Region, the National Schools of Architecture of Paris Belleville, Marne-la-Vallée, Val-de-Seine and Versailles, industrialists, real estate and new economy players, FAIRE is a real ecosystem, a "facilitator" for project leaders and a "stirrer" for the city.

Since its creation, with its partners, FAIRE has already supported more than thirty teams, initiated the publication of 12 research papers, developed 18 in situ experiments and a new type of real estate development. More than a hundred actors have committed themselves alongside the winners of the various publications to support their experimental approaches.
Supporting projects and accelerating solutions that benefit local areas to make them more sustainable, more connected, more inclusive, and more attractive forms a core part of the mission of the Banque des Territoires, which was created just two years ago. I am overjoyed at this collective, federating commitment spurred by the City of Paris through FAIRE, an innovation incubator supported by the Sponsorship Office of the Caisse des Dépôts, which strives to meet the historic challenge that brings us all together: creating the city of tomorrow.”
Marianne Louradour,
Ile de France Regional Director, Banque des Territoires

MINI is proud to support, for the third year in a row, the Pavillon de l’Arsenal and the City of Paris in FAIRE’s call for innovative projects that will envision the city of tomorrow. We are thrilled to discover the proposed projects, which are sure to echo the innovation, daring, and creativity that have characterized MINI’s DNA for more than 60 years.”
 Guillaume de Sazilly
Chairman of MINI France

“The healthcare and climate crisis have highlighted urban problems that already existed and are raising new questions for the city’s actors. The accelerator FAIRE strives to support those who are committed to changing cities.”
 Alexandre Labasse,
Director of the Pavillon de l’Arsenal
