Floating ecological swimming pool

Floating ecological swimming pool "There are ecological swimming pools. There are floating swimming pools. We propose the Floating Ecological Swimming pool."

"There are ecological swimming pools. There are floating swimming pools. We propose the Floating Ecological Swimming pool."

"The floating ecological pool draws its water directly from the Seine and filters it thanks to the action of the plants and their purifying ecosystems.

This technology helps cleanse the water, clean up the air by trapping carbon and re-nature the metropolis. The floating ecological pool reconnects Parisians with the river, in immaculate sanitary conditions. It is a foretaste of 2024.

The Parisian Town Planning Workshop (APUR) identified in 2016 potential bathing sites that the floating ecological pool could integrate perfectly."

Clément Willemin is an architect & landscape gardener, a town planner and a plastic artist. He founded BASE with his partners in 2000, directly after graduating from the landscaping school in Versailles. He currently manages the Parisian agency (20 employees).

Pauline Renaud is a project manager in design and landscaping. Qualified architect from the School of Architecture in Haute-Normandie, she completed her architect training with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona.

Ulysses Blau is an environmental engineer. Of Parisian origin but trained at McGill university in Canada, he specialized in water treatment by plants and purifying ecosystems.

Kieu Mai is a geographer and a town planner. After two years in literary preparatory classes, he joined the Sorbonne to study geography. His Master’s in cultural geography led him to think -in a transverse way and on different scales- about numerous social, economic, cultural and political problems. Kieu Mai joined the Cycle of town planning at Sciences Po Paris to broaden his theoretical knowledge and more specifically acquire new technical and operational skills.
